哈里斯县警长办公室表示，周六在大休斯顿地区，一辆由美国移民和海关执法局（ICE）特工驾驶的车辆撞人并造成一名男子受伤。
警长办公室在一份声明中称：“这起事件似乎发生在ICE执法人员正在该地区开展执法行动期间。”
在新闻发布会上，哈里斯县警长特别调查局的麦康奈尔少校表示，警长办公室于早上7点20分左右接到报警赶往现场。
麦康奈尔称，ICE特工当时正驾车向南追捕一名通缉嫌疑人，而该嫌疑人驾车在东向车道内逆向向西行驶。嫌疑人弃车步行逃离。
他表示，肇事司机和乘客随即驾车逃逸，ICE特工试图将二人抓获。在试图抓捕乘客时，ICE特工驾车撞上了该乘客。
伤者已被送往当地医院。麦康奈尔称，该男子疑似腿部骨折，但未提供其伤情的更多细节。
麦康奈尔表示，受害者为一名48岁男性，目前正在医院由ICE监管。

Vehicle driven by ICE agents in Texas hits and injures man, sheriff says

A vehicle driven by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents hit and injured a man in the greater Houston area on Saturday, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said.
“The incident appears to have occurred while ICE authorities were conducting an enforcement action in the area,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
During a press conference, Major McConnell of the Harris County Sheriff’s special investigation bureau said the sheriff’s office was called to the scene around 7:20 a.m.
ICE agents were headed south in pursuit of a wanted suspect, McConnell said, and the suspect drove west in an eastbound lane. The suspect bailed out of his vehicle and went on foot, he said.
The driver and passenger fled and ICE agents attempted to capture them both, he said. While trying to capture the passenger, the ICE agent hit him with his vehicle.
The victim was taken to a local hospital. McConnell said it appears the man has a broken leg, but no further details were given on the man’s condition.
McConnell said the victim is a 48-year-old male and is currently in the custody of ICE at the hospital.
