被唐纳德·特朗普总统禁止进入白宫的三家媒体机构——CNN、MS NOW和Politico——已起诉特朗普政府，要求恢复其采访权限。
这项紧急请求将提交给联邦法官蒂莫西·J·凯利审理，凯利是特朗普任命的哥伦比亚特区联邦地区法院法官。
三家媒体在诉状中表示：“这项禁令是对第一修正案最直接的攻击，也是对我们最基本宪法原则最公然的践踏。”他们请求法院立即采取行动，恢复旗下记者的白宫采访权限。
特朗普否认这项禁令违反第一修正案。
“白宫并未对我所珍视的新闻自由发动攻击，而是针对假新闻——这种毒瘤正在我们深爱的美国如癌症般扩散，”特朗普周一上午在其社交媒体账号上发帖称，“假新闻腐败、刻意、泛滥、全面协调且完全失控，它威胁到我们的国家安全，必须立即制止！”

The three outlets President Donald Trump banned from the White House — CNN, MS NOW and Politico — have sued the administration in an attempt to restore their access.
The emergency request is set to go before federal Judge Timothy J. Kelly, who is a Trump-appointee in the DC District Court.
“This ban could not be a more direct assault on the First Amendment nor a more blatant violation of our most fundamental constitutional principles,” the outlets said in their lawsuit, which is asking the court to act immediately to revive their journalists’ access to the White House.
Trump has denied that the ban is a violation of the First Amendment.
“The White House is not instituting an assault on the Free Press, something which I cherish. It is instituting an assault on the FAKE NEWS, something that has grown like Cancer in our beloved United States of America,” Trump posted to his social media account Monday morning. “It is corrupt, purposeful, pervasive, fully coordinated, and totally out of control. It is a threat to our National Security, and must be stopped, NOW!”
