UNITED STATES SUPREME COURT
WASHINGTON, Sept 15 (Reuters) – President Donald Trump lashed out Tuesday at the U.S. Supreme Court justices he appointed after the high court declined to let the U.S. Postal Service enforce a rule targeting mail-in ballots before November midterm elections.
The Republican president assailed the justices as being influenced by Democrats in making rulings against policies he espoused, including the global tariff regime and his attempt to restrict birthright citizenship. The court has a 6-3 conservative majority.

“This Supreme Court is bullied and cajoled by the Radical Left into making decisions that have set America back at least a hundred years,” the Republican president wrote on social media.
“These are not the people I interviewed to serve on the United States Supreme Court, they are merely a shell of their original selves,” he continued on Truth Social. “It is a Court that will go down as having rendered some of the most destructive, hurtful, and damaging decisions in our Country’s history.”
Trump said the mail-in voting ruling was a “big loss” for Republicans.
