Democrat Zach Dembo hopes to win an open House seat in Kentucky that voted for President Trump by 15 points. His final pitch to potential constituents is centered as much around corruption as it is voters’ top issue, affordability. Dembo tells Inside Politics that the two can’t be separated, “At the same time you are hearing about costs, you’re having hardworking central Kentuckians seeing folks in DC getting rich—as you pointed out, on both sides of the aisle, and so costs and corruption go very much hand-in-hand.”
